What You Will Learn

In this course, you will learn how to design and develop dynamic, database-driven websites using PHP/MySQL, HTML, CSS, and Javascript. You will also learn what happens behind the scenes of a web site, also called the “back-end”.

At the beginner level, you’ll be introduced to PHP syntax, understanding of which will beA�necessaryA�to help you with the more advanced concepts. In the intermediate level, we’ll explore some of PHP’s advanced topics that involve security, Ajax requests, and image manipulation.A� Finally, at the Advanced level we’ll look at some of PHP’s frameworks that will help you organize, maintain and develop mind blowing dynamic websites like a pro.

Seminar Outline

Beginner (Oct 16, 23 2010 9 a.m. – 5 p.m)

Get introduced to PHP the right way: what is it, its history, who uses it and what has been accomplished using PHP? You’ll get started right away by learning the basics of proper syntax along with all the basic fundamentals of PHP.

We will look more closely at the language’s building blocks and how you can use them to construct larger, more complex websites and web applications.A� You will learn how to develop many different components such as dynamic forms and basic reports.

By the end of this course, you’ll know how to create a basic PHP driven website and get it up and running on the web!

Intermediate (Oct 30, Nov 6 2010 9 a.m. – 5 p.m)

In our intermediate course, you’ll learn everything about PDF Generation and Graphical Reports, such as Pie Charts, Bar Charts and Captchas.

You will learn how to secure your websites from the outside world, data validation, Cross-Site Scripting, SQL Injection, password encryption security, and other important security best practices.

Lastly, you will learn everything about AJAX that will enable you to create fast, user friendly websites that interact between browser and the server without ever reloading the entire page.

Advanced (Nov 13, 20 2010 9 a.m. – 5 p.m)

In our advanced course, we’ll cover the MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture. We’ll look at some of PHP’s frameworks that utilize MVC and we’ll teach you how to use them to speed up your betnovate scalp application. web and application development.

During this course you will learn how to debug and maintain your web application as well as fully understand what it takes to be a pro web developer.
